Descriptions
Asphalt tanks heating source was from electric tubes, which heated
thermal oil through serpentine heating coils, transferring heat to
asphalt stored inside the tank.
They are used at hot mix asphalt plants, asphalt terminals, and
asphalt roofing plants.
Asphalt storage tank components
Electric heating asphalt tank is mainly composed of tank body, rock
wool insulation layer, electric heater, asphalt thermometer,
asphalt temperature sensor, asphalt level gauge, pressure level
sensor, top manhole, asphalt inlet and outlet, ladder guardrails,
electric control box and so on.
Two options
option 1, electric heater heating thermal oil, avoiding asphalt
aging by indirect heating.
option 2, electric heater heating asphalt directly, saving cost
with lower price.
Features
1. Our storage silo are mounted on steel skids that bolt to
concrete foundations.
2. Our storage tanks have serpentine heating coils, liquid asphalt
in the tank is indirectly heated by hot thermal oil flowing through
the coils.
3. A manhole is located in the top of each compartment. An access
ladder is provided on the outside of the tank and inside each
compartment. Each compartment also has a combination vent and
overflow pipe.
4. An valve in the bottom of each compartment allows the tank to be
completely drained.
5. All our tanks are covered with rock wool insulation, temperature
drop is no more than 10% of the atmospheric temperature changes in
24 hours.
